Present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of necessary direction to the respondent Nos.2 and 3 to file status report in case of FIR No.320 dated 14.08.2021 registered under Sections 406, 420, 506, 34 IPC at Police Station Rania, District Sirsa, Annexure P-1. 2.
Notice of motion in this case was issued on 09.03.2023, pursuant thereto, learned State counsel has filed status report by way of an affidavit of Virender Singh, HPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Ellenabad, District Sirsa on behalf of respondent-State. He makes a reference to paras 23, 24 and 25, which read thus:- "23. That the co-accused Naveen has filed his anticipatory bail bearing CRM-M No.35923 of 2021 before the Hon'ble High Court at Chandigarh. Vide order dated 12.4.2023, the Hon'ble High Court has held that the counsel for the petitioner (Naveen) submitted that the compromise has been arrived with
- 2the complainant on 11.4.2023. As per the compromise a sum of Rs.12.25 lacs has already been paid to the victim and balance amount of Rs.25 lacs has to be paid on or before 15.5.2023The accused Naveen Kumar was granted the concession of interim bail and ordered to join the investigation of the case. The said petition was adjourned on 30.5.2023. The co-accused Naveen has been joined investigation on 18.04.2023. It is also submitted that seven other complainants including petitioner in this case have also sworn their joint affidavit dated 12.4.2023 regarding the settlement of the dispute and also stated that after receipt of the amount as per their share, they will withdraw the case/FIR accordingly. Total four accused have been named in this FIR out of them, accused Naveen Kumar has been joined investigation in this case and three accused Subhash, Satpal and Manjeet are yet to be arrested.

That in terms of the order dated 12.4.2023, passed in CRM-M no.35923 of 2021, the complainant Bhupinder Singh son of Baldev Singh was called and joined into investigation of the case in respect of the fact of compromise. On enquiry the complainant Bhupinder Singh has made his statement dated 18.4.2023 whereby he has stated that the matter has been compromised for a total sum of Rs.37,25,000/-. Out of this settled amount, a sum of Rs.12.25 lacs has been paid in cash on 11.4.2023 and the amount of Rs.25 lacs would be received through a cheque no.019923 dated 15.5.2023. He has stated that after receipt of the remaining amount of compromise he will be bound to get cancel the FIR no.320 dated 14.8.2021. Translation copy of the statement of Bhupinder is attached as Annexure R-1.
25. That apart from the complainant, the witnesses of the compromise namely Satish Kumar son of Beant Lal and Satpal son of Shiv Dayal were also joined into the investigation. They also made their statement regarding the compromise in between the parties and also confirmed the settlement of Rs.12.25 lacs has been paid in cash and the remaining amount of Rs.25 lacs will be paid on 15.5.2023. Rs. 37.25 lacs out of which Rs.12.25 lacs has been paid in case and the remaining amount of Rs.25 lacs will be paid on 15.5.2023." 3.
He submits that in view of the compromise having been arrived at between the parties, the present petition has been rendered infructuous and may be disposed of as such.

In view of the above, no furthers orders are required to be passed. 5.
Petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous. However,
