NAMIT KUMAR J. (Oral) The present petition has been filed by the petitioners under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondent - authorities to grant the same pay scale of Rs.700-1200 and Rs.700-1600 from the respective deemed dates by giving notional benefits in fixation of pay to the petitioners as has been allowed to their counterparts working in the Government Colleges.

CWP No.649 of 2000 (O&M) As per the office report, petitioner No.1 has been served and petitioners No.2 to 5 and 7 to 10, have retired from service and petitioner No.6 has died.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite her best efforts, she has not been able to get further instructions from the petitioners.

In this view of the matter, the present petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
