Bakshi, Additional Advocate General, Haryana. ***** JASPAL SINGH, J.(Oral) Through instant petition preferred under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has sought issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to release the remaining amount of gratuity and Group Insurance Scheme along with interest. 2.

Though, learned counsel for the petitioner has been informed time and again and for today also he has been informed about the date fixed as reported by Registrar's Office but despite that fact none has opted to appear. 3.

At the very outset of the arguments, it has been submitted by learned State counsel that in fact, the instant petition has rendered infructuous as an amount outstanding on account of GIS including interest amounting to Rs.17,311/- has already been deposited in the bank account of the petitioner whereas another sum of Rs.8000/- has already been released in favour of Sonika 2018.03.08 17:51 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

In the light of aforesaid assertion made by learned State counsel, instant petition has rendered infructuous and stands disposed of accordingly. 5.

However, the petitioner shall be at liberty to have recourse to other remedies available under law including to approach this Court, in case, she still feels aggrieved.
