The petitioner has filed this petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail in case FIR No.128 dated 28.6.2016 registered for the offences under Sections 302 read with Section 34 IPC (Challan was presented for the offences under Sections 304, 148 read with Section 149 IPC) at Police Station Phillaur, District Jalandhar. Notice of motion to Advocate General, Punjab. Mr. Deep Singh, learned Assistant Advocate General, Punjab has put in appearance on behalf of the respondent-State and contested this petition.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Advocate General, Punjab for the State and have gone through the Harpal Singh Parmar 2017.01.31 10:43 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

From the record, I find that the petitioner is named in the FIR. He is the main accused. He was armed with `Ghotna'. Injuries are also attributed to him.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the preset case, nature and gravity of the offences, I do not find it a fit case where the present petitioner is entitled to the benefit of regular bail. Therefore, finding no merit in this petition, the same is dismissed at this stage.
