RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Instant petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying for directing official respondents no.1 to 3 for carrying out fair and proper investigation in FIR No.201, dated 31.07.2022, under Sections 341, 342, 323, and 34 IPC and Sections 25 and 27 of the Arms Act, registered at Police Station City Malout, District Sri Muktsar Sahib, Punjab and to submit status report.

It has been contended by counsel for the petitioner that since the registration of the FIR, no investigation is being carried out in the present case.

Notice of motion to official respondents only. On asking of the Court, Mr.Sandeep Kumar, DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of official respondents/State and submits, on instructions from ASI Harbans Singh, that the petitioner had approached this Court on the earlier occasion also by way of filing CRM-M41544-2022 and the same was dismissed as withdrawn vide order dated MEENU 2023.03.14 16:43 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment

CRM-M-12013-2023 -212.09.2022. Learned State counsel has further submitted that after the investigation, cancellation report was presented before the Court of learned SDJM Malout, however, learned Magistrate did not accept the same and return it with a direction to carry out further investigation vide order dated 06.03.2023. He has submitted that in pursuance to the same the Investigating Agencies are further investigating the case and the investigation would be completed within two months. After hearing counsel for the parties, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the Investigating Agencies to complete the investigation within a period of two months from today. However, petitioner is at liberty to pursue his remedies as available to him under the law.
