(ORAL) The petitioner is stated to have retired after attaining the age of superannuation on 31.05.2018 but till date no gratuity has been released in spite of the fact that no departmental proceedings are pending against him till now. The petitioner has also sent legal notice, dated 15.11.2019, Annexure P-1.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to decide the legal notice, dated 15.11.2019, Annexure P-1, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within one month from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
