Prayer in this petition filed under Section 482 CrPC is for issuance of necessary directions to respondents no.1 to 4 to take strict legal action and conduct proper enquiry as well as to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and his family. Learned State's counsel submits that the proposed reply is yet to be vetted, however, he has instructions from SI Bhoop Singh that challan in the case has been filed and parents of the deceased have been arrested. The first prayer of the petitioner stands addressed. As regards the second prayer i.e. to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and his family, it shall be open for the petitioner to approach the concerned SHO/Superintendent of Police for redressal of such grievance, if any. In case the petitioner has any threat perception, he may file an application in this regard to the SHO/Superintendent of Police concerned, who after analyzing the threat perception at his own level, shall provide security for one month more.
