The instant petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking quashing of FIR No.131 dated 8.12.2021 under Sections 498-A IPC (Section 406 IPC added later on) registered at Police Station Chamkaur Sahib, District Rupnagar (Annexure P-1).

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Sohan Lal, submits that the petitioner has now joined the investigation, and final report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. will soon be presented to the Court after completion of investigation.

In view thereof, there is no ground to entertain the petition, at this stage.

Dismissed.
