(ORAL) Through this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. prayer has been made for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.50 dated 25.04.2017 registered under Section 15 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (in short 'the Act') at Police Station Julkan, District Patiala.

Heard.

Petitioner absented during trial in aforesaid case and proceedings under Section 82 Cr.P.C. were initiated against her. Coaccused of the petitioner, namely, Malkit Singh, has been convicted vide judgment dated 10.02.2020 by learned Judge, Special Court, Patiala, under Section 15 of the Act and sentenced to the period already undergone by him vide order of sentence of even date.
