IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA

AT CHANDIGARH.

Crl. Misc. No.M-16446 of 2015 (O&M) Date of Decision: May 19, 2015.

Charanjit Kumar ......PETITIONER(s).

VERSUS

State of Punjab and others ....RESPONDENT(s).

CORAM:- HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SURINDER GUPTA

Present:

Mr. Gurcharan Dass, Advocate for the petitioner (s).

******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) Heard.

The contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that FIR No.74 dated 29.03.2014 registered at Police Station Sarabha Nagar, Ludhiana City, at the instance of complainant-respondent No.4 is a false one in which the petitioner has been allowed anticipatory bail. In order to ascertain the falsehood of the FIR, the police should also enquire the representation of petitioner (Annexure P-3).

The matter is still under investigation, as such, no such directions are required to be issued, as it will amount to interference in the investigation of the case. However, the petitioner may put forth his version during the investigation and avail other legal remedies available to him under law.

This petition has no merits. Dismissed.
