**** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI , J. (ORAL) In the present writ petition, the grievance of the petitioners is that the post of Assistant Registrar in the Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar was equated with as that of Under Secretary working in the State of Punjab, hence they are entitled for the grade pay granted to the Under Secretary.

Counsel for the petitioners states that Under Secretary working in the State of Punjab was granted the grade pay of `6600/-, whereas the petitioners have been granted the grade pay, of the post of the Superintendent, from which post they actually been promoted as Assistant Registrars.

CWP-6169-2019 -2have submitted the representations dated 18.06.2015 and 28.05.2018 (Annexure P-5 {Colly.}), which are still pending consideration with the respondents and the petitioners will be satisfied, at this stage, in case a time bound direction is issued to the respondents to decide the said representations.

In view of the request made, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case and the claim being made by the petitioners, the respondents are directed to decide the representation dated 18.06.2015 and 28.05.2018 (Annexure P-5 {Colly.}) by passing a speaking order within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.

Present writ petition stands disposed of.
