(ORAL) Petition herein, inter alia, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to implement the reservation qua Scheduled Caste for appointment to the post of Chief Information Commissioner/State Information Commissioners in Haryana State Information Commission. Reliance is placed on the Apex Court judgment in 'R.K.Sabharwal Vs. State of Punjab' decided on 10.02.1995. 2.
Petitioner pleads State of Haryana is not implementing the 20% percentage reservation and roster system for Scheduled Caste qua members of Haryana Information Commission. Petitioner also submitted a representation dated 18.09.2017 (Annexure P-6 ) but to no avail. Hence, the instant petition. 3.
Learned counsel for the petitioner also relies on Instructions dated 14.10.1999 issued by Chief Secretary to Government of Haryana contained at Annexure P-1.

Learned counsel for the petitioner also agrees that let a final decision be taken, by the competent authority on the pending representation of the petitioner.

Given the nature of order being passed, there is no necessity to seek return by any of the respondents as no further proceedings and/or pleadings are required.

Without commenting on the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the competent authority to look into the grievance of the petitioner as per representation dated 18.09.2017 (Annexure P6) and also contentions raised in the present petition by treating the same as supplementary representation and take a decision, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.

Disposed of accordingly.
