(Oral) Petition herein is, inter alia, seeking a writ in the nature of Certiorari, for quashing the order dated 20.03.1979 (Annexure P-2) passed by learned Collector, Ferozepur; order dated 05.09.1984 (Annexure P-3) passed by learned Commissioner, Ferozepur Division, Ferozepur and order dated 04.03.1999 (Annexure P-4) passed by learned Financial Commissioner Appeals(I), Punjab.

A perusal of order sheets reveals that on 21.10.2024, the following order was passed by this Court:- "Learned counsel representing the petitioner(s) submits that he has no instructions from the petitioners. Let fresh notice be issued to the petitioners for 05.02.2025.

Photocopy of this order be placed on the file of other connected case."

CWP-5642-1999 (O&M) -22.1. Thereafter, the matter was taken up on 31.01.2026, wherein the following order was passed by this Court:- "As per the office report, notice issued to petitioner has been received back unserved with the report 'not residing at given address'.

Learned counsel for the petitioner is directed to provide the correct address of the petitioner.

List on 07.03.2026.

Let the needful be done within a period of three weeks from today. Pursuant thereto, fresh notice be served upon the petitioner.

As per office report, fresh notices could not be issued to the petitioner as the correct address of the petitioner was not provided by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

Keeping in view the above, the present writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed for non-prosecution.
