Learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the issue in this Writ Petition is with regard to the claiming of the seniority of the petitioner over the private respondents. It is further stated that the petitioner as well as the private respondents have attained superannuation.

In view of the aforesaid, the issue has purely become academic. Thus, by efflux of time, this Writ Petition has become infructuous and the same is dismissed as such.

All pending applications in this Writ Petition stand disposed of accordingly.
