The present contempt petition has been filed pleading wilful disobedience of order dated 16.07.2018 passed by this Court in CWP No.384 of 2016.

The respondents have filed reply by way of affidavit of Dr. Avnish Kumar, Director, Research and Medical Education, Punjab annexing order dated 23.04.2019 as Annexure R-1, same is taken on record. COCP No.856 of 2019 -2the petitioner. As per order, interest amounting to 1,06,813/- has been paid.
Learned counsel for the petitioner states that no cause of action survives for pursuing the contempt petition. The contempt petition is disposed of as infructuous. However, petitioner would be at liberty to avail remedies in accordance with law, if aggrieved of order passed by the respondent.
