CORAM:HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE JAISHREE THAKUR

Present:

Mr. Ram Kumar Saini, Advocate for the petitioner.

Mr. Tapan Kumar Yadav, DAG, Haryana.

-.- JAISHREE THAKUR J. (ORAL) 1.

The petitioner herein assails the merit list as prepared by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission for appointment to the posts of Sub Inspector (Male) in advertisement No.3 dated 15.06.2021. 2.

It is contended that the petitioner has obtained 56 marks in written examination and he has cleared physical screening test as well as the physical measurement test. It is further contended that as the petitioner belongs to Tapriwas caste (denotified tribe of Haryana), he would be entitled to additional 5 marks, which would make his total as 61 marks. However, the said benefit has been denied to him. It is also contended that in the revised merit list, petitioner's name does not figure as successful candidate. He has preferred representation (Annexure P-6) as well as legal notice (Annexure P-7) but no decision has been taken thereon so far. 3.

Notice of motion.
