Ms. Anmol Grewal, DAG, Punjab **** RITU BAHRI , J. (Oral) This petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners in case FIR No.257 dated 31.12.2016, under Sections 406/420/494 IPC, registered at Police Station Sadar Jalandhar, District Jalandhar.

Learned State counsel, on instruction from Head Constable Gurmeet Singh, has informed that in compliance with the order dated 20.01.2017 passed by this Court, the petitioner had joined the investigation on 15.03.2017 and is no longer required for custodial interrogation. Further learned State counsel has informed that the petitioner has given one CD and passport.
