The appellant-Insurance Company has filed the present appeal (FAO-554-2021) challenging the impugned award dated 22.02.2021 passed by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Ambala on the ground of quantum of compensation. Respondent Nos.3 and 4 (driver and owner of the offending vehicle No.HR-04-D-9092) have filed cross-objections (XOBJC-33-2024) challenging the recovery rights granted to the Insurance Company. 2.

Admittedly, the claimant-respondent Nos.1 and 2 have not filed any appeal.

Learned counsel for the appellant and respondent Nos.3 and 4/cross-objectors are ad idem that they have since settled the matter and pursuant to their settlement, out of the total compensation awarded by the Tribunal in favour of the claimants, respondent Nos.3 and 4/cross-objectors Yogesh Sharma 2025.09.16 10:49 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this judgment/order.

FAO-554-2021 (O&M) (driver and owner of the offending vehicle No.HR-04-D-9092) would pay an amount of ₹17,86,386/- and the remaining amount would be paid by the appellant-Insurance Company.

In view of the above settlement, the present appeal and the cross-objections are disposed off accordingly. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
