The petitioner seeks grant of interim bail on medical grounds in respect of FIR No.90, dated 25.7.2022 registered at Police Station Cantt. Ferozepur, District Ferozepur, under Sections 166, 167, 195, 471, 218, 120-B of Indian Penal Code, Sections 21, 59 of NDPS Act and Section 13 of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.

It has been informed that the petitioner, who is involved in one more case i.e. FIR No.99, dated 1.8.2022 registered at Police Station Kulgari, under Section 22 of NDPS Act and Sections 212, 216, 120-B of Indian Penal Code is suffering from heart ailments and has also been diagnosed to be suffering from tuberculosis and has been advised bypass surgery. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that a Coordinate Bench of this Court, while noticing medical condition of the petitioner, has granted interim bail to the petitioner till 31.8.2024 in respect of FIR No.99, dated 1.8.2022 vide order of even date passed in CRM-22621-2024 in CRM-M-10883-2023. 4.

In view of the aforestated position, the instant petition, which is also for grant of interim bail, is disposed of in same terms as passed in CRM-226212024 in CRM-M-10883-2023 inasmuch as the petitioner is ordered to be released on interim bail upto 31.8.2024 subject to his furnishing bail bonds/surety bonds to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate/Duty Magistrate concerned. However, in case the sureties furnished earlier do not have any objection for extension of the same, it shall be oepn to the Trial Court to consider earlier surety bonds as well. 5.
