The instant petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.048 dated 01.02.2020 registered under Section 498-A IPC registered at Police Station City, Faridkot, District Faridkot.

By an order dated 04.03.2020, this Court had granted interim bail to the petitioner and directed him to join investigation. 3.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent-State on instructions from SI Gurdev Singh submits that the petitioner has joined investigation.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties. 5.
In view of the fact that the petitioner has joined investigation, the instant petition is allowed and the order dated 04.03.2020 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
