The petitioner incarcerated in the FIR captioned above, has come up before this Court seeking regular bail under Section 483 BNSS 2023. 2.

As per reply dated 06.05.2025, the petitioner has the following criminal history:- Sr. No.

Counsel for the State opposes the bail and refers to para 9 of the reply, which reads as follows:- "9. It is humbly submitted that in the present case/FIR no.198 (supra) the petitioner is specifically named in the FIR and he was armed with Gandasa ANJU RANI 2025.09.25 16:06 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Punjab and Haryana High Court Chandigarh

CRM-M-10692-2025 with which he inflicted injury to Davinder Pratap Singh (deceased) on his vital body part i.e. neck and later dragged Davinder Pratap Singh outside the room."

Counsel for the complainant submits that now case is fixed for defence evidence and arguments and now the ball is in the court of accused person and trial is at fag end, as such, petitioner is not entitled to bail.

After arguing for some time, petitioner's counsel seeks permission to withdraw the present petition with clarification that directions be issued to the trial Court to conclude the trial as early as possible.

Given the petitioner's prayer, the concerned trial court is requested to make all endeavours to conclude the trial as early as possible. Counsel for the State as well as complainant are directed not to seek any unnecessary adjournment. 7.
