(Oral) By way of instant petition, petitioner has approached this Court for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus for seeking directions to respondents No.1 to 3 for protection of her life and liberty at the hands of private respondents.

As per affidavit dated 05.08.2022 filed by learned State counsel, it is submitted that the Police of P.S. Tanda has verified that the petitioner apprehends no danger to her life and liberty, however, the SHO, P.S. Tanda, Distt. Hoshiarpur has instructed the duty officers and the official of PCR Unit to keep vigil at the house of the petitioner to avoid any untoward incident.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has not controverted the submissions made by the learned State counsel. 4.

In view of above, nothing survives in the present petition and the same is disposed of.
