1. Today, at the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that at this stage his clients would be satisfied that in case a direction is issued to the State to consider their case with respect to the claims made in the instant writ petition and to pass a speaking order.
2. Learned State counsel submits that although the matter as of now is covered by CWP-17064-2017 titled as Ajay Kumar Singla and others Vs. State of Punjab and others, but the State is taking steps to file SLP in the said case and the case of the petitioners would be considered accordingly.
3. In view of the aforestated submissions, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioners as MOHAN SINGH 2023.07.20 18:12 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment
CWP-5674-2023 (O&M) ( 2 ) 2023:PHHC:091832 regards the relief claimed in the present petition and to pass a speaking order expeditiously, preferably within a period of 4 months from today. A copy of the instant petition be conveyed to the respondents which shall be treated as representation
4. A copy of this order be sent to the respondents for necessary compliance.
5.
