Versus
State of Punjab and others ... Respondent(s)
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE AMIT RAWAL
Present:
None for the appellant(s).
Ms. Devki Anand Sullar, AAG, Punjab.
**** AMIT RAWAL, J. (ORAL) Today there is no representation on behalf of the appellants. On 29.11.2006, learned counsel for the appellants had sought the time for bringing on record the LRs of appellant No.1, namely, Gurdev Singh and last opportunity was granted to do the needful. The matter was adjourned to 24.01.2007 and on that date, learned counsel submitted that in spite of his having informed the legal representatives of Gurdev Singh/appellant No.1, none had contacted him so far and he sought more time. Thereafter, no steps have been taken to implead the LRs so far. It appears that the appellants must have resiled with the situation, therefore, they are not interested in pursuing the matter. Dismissed for non-prosecution.
