*** ANIL KSHETARPAL, J (Oral) Through this writ petition, the petitioner prays for issuance of a writ in the nature of prohibition for restraining the respondents from diverting the natural flow of river Ravi.

The petitioner claims that he is owner in possession of a parcel of land which is located near the river belt. On notice of motion, the respondents have filed reply and stated that in order to save the land of the petitioner, a dam has been constructed and there is no encroachment on the petitioner's land. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner's land is being utilised for the last 20 years. Since disputed questions of the fact are involved, therefore, the petitioner is relegated to the remedy before the Civil Court. Disposed of.
