(ORAL) Learned counsel appearing for respondent No.2 submits that the petitioners as well as respondent No.2 have since been retired from service, the questions with respect to their promotions have been rendered inconsequential. For last two dates, the petitioners were unrepresented. Today also same is the situation.

In view of the above, present petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructous.
