-.- KARAMJIT SINGH , J. (Oral) Prayer is for grant of anticipatory bail in case having FIR No.264 dated 29.10.2021 registered under Sections 379, 411 IPC at Police Station Maqboolpura, District Amritsar.

Counsel for the petitioner has submitted that as per the prosecution version, the FIR in the present case was registered on the basis of secret information and thereafter non-applicant/Balwinder Singh @ Bobby was apprehended and one stolen motorcycle, one stolen Activa and numbers of chassis and spare parts of stolen two wheelers were recovered GAURAV SOROT 2022.08.17 16:29 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

-:2:- CRM-M-12365-2022 from his possession. The counsel for the petitioner further submitted that the petitioner has joined investigation with the police in the light of previous order dated 24.3.2022 passed by this Court.

State counsel on instructions ASI Kashmir Singh has not disputed the fact that petitioner has joined investigation with the police and further submits that recoveries of stolen goods have already been effected from co-accused Balwinder Singh @ Bobby and that now the petitioner is not required by police for further investigation or for custodial interrogation. Admittedly the petitioner has joined investigation and recoveries have already been effected in this case. So no purpose is going to be served even if the petitioner is subjected to police custody at this point of time. Thus without commenting on the merits of the case, present petition is allowed and order dated 24.3.2022 is hereby made absolute.
