(Oral) The petition has been filed, inter alia, seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to grant the benefit of J.S.T. grade to the petitioner on the basis of qualification of B.A. from the date of joining service. 2.
Learned State counsel has referred to the written statement filed on behalf of the respondents to contend that the petitioner was appointed as Hindi teacher on adhoc basis on 07.07.1980. There was break in service before he re-joined on 17.02.1984. Thereafter, he continuously worked till the date of regularisation, i.e., 01.11.1986. As per the government instructions dated 07.04.1999, Annexure R-1, due benefits admissible to him have already been released. He is not entitled to grant of J.S.T. grade with effect from the date of joining service on adhoc basis, since the service was not followed by regularisation.
