Petitioner/complainant Aastha Prakash ex-wife of Deepu Saurav has filed this petition under Section 482 Cr.PC seeking a direction to official respondents No. 1 to 6 herein to conduct fair and proper investigation in FIR No.58 dated 26.6.2014 (Annexure P-1) registered under Sections 406, 498-A, 323, 354-A, 506 and 34 IPC lodged by her, against her ex-husband accused no.1 Dipu Saurav, father-in-law accused no.2 Udaybir Singh, and mother-in-law accused no.3 Anita Singh (all of whom have not been arrayed as party-respondents before this Court.) Ld. counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was married to accused no.1 on 11.5.2011and they have been living separately since 2013. No children were born out of this wedlock. Subsequently, FIR was lodged by the petitioner in the year 2014. Ld. counsel further submits that the petitioner has undergone great hardship at the hands of the accused, and RAJINDER PARSHAD JOSHI 2023.08.04 10:23 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Ld. State counsel submits that the petitioner had filed a complaint dated 3.5.2014 against the accused persons before the Deputy, Commissioner of Police, Panchkula. It is submitted that thereafter, investigation upon the said complaint was conducted by Assistant Commissioner of Police, City Panchkula, by following the due process of law, upon which the allegations levelled by the petitioner against the accused were found to be correct as a result of which the above said FIR was registered against all the accused persons.

Ld. State counsel on instructions from Mr. Devinder Singh, Investigating Officer, PS MDC, Panchkula further submits that after completion of investigation, challan was presented on 22.11.2021; charges were framed on 21.3.2022; and the case is now pending trial for 6.9.2023. Ld. State counsel states that investigation in the matter was conducted in a free, fair, just and transparent manner.

Ld. Counsel for the petitioner is unable to dispute the above said facts. In view of the above, no further directions are warranted in the matter.

Accordingly, petition stands disposed of.
