$% "& Report dated 20.08.2014 of learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Rajpura has been received whereby based on the statements of complainant Gurjit Kaur and the accused Sultan Singh, compromise Ex.CX has been effected wherein the parties after receipt of requisite amount have settled the matter and the learned Court has shown its satisfaction that the compromise is an outcome of voluntariness, free will of the parties, without any undue influence, coercion or pressure. Heard.

  In the light of the satisfaction shown by the Court, being a pure matrimonial dispute and the offences for which the accused have been hauled up are not of serious nature, together with the fact that compromise will go a long way in ironing out differences and for the conducive future of the parties bringing about peace and harmony, the prayer made in the petition is allowed, proceedings by way of FIR No.156 dated 23.07.2009 registered at Police Station Rajpura, District Patiala under Sections 406, 498=A, 506 IPC and all consequences arising thereof are quashed.

The petition stands allowed in those terms.
