Mr. Harsh Aggarwal, Advocate for the petitioners. * * * * The petitioners sought a reference to the Labour Court. The said reference was answered by the Labour Court vide award dated 06.10.1999, wherein it was held that the workers are entitled to closure benefits from PC Foundries, Respondent No.1. However, their claim for reinstatement was rejected. Hence, this petition at the instance of the workers seeking reinstatement.

Mr. SD Bhatti, Advocate, who filed this petition did not put in appearance and consequently, notices were issued to the petitioners. The notices have been received back unserved with the report "there is no information available regarding these petitioners or their correct addresses. Mr. Harsh Aggarwal, Advocate has put in appearance on behalf of respondent No.1 and submits that the respondent-Factory has since been closed long back. Registered letter written by him has been received back unserved.

In the circumstances, the writ petition is ordered to be consigned to record. Liberty is, however, granted to the petitioners to get it revived, if need be.
