Naresh Kumar Sanghi, J.(Oral) Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Baljinder Singh of Police Station, Mullanpur Garibdass, District SAS Nagar, submits that statement in terms of Section 161, Cr.P.C. of petitioner No.2-Preeti Kaur has been recorded in which she has exonerated Gurdeep Singh. The Investigating Agency is proposing to file the cancellation report in the present case after obtaining necessary orders from the concerned authorities.

In view of the above, the learned counsel for the petitioner does not press this petition, at this stage. Ordered accordingly.
