In the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., prayer has been made to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners, at the hands of respondents No. 3 to 6 as respondent No. 6-TS Chawla, being an influential person has influenced respondents No. 4 and 5, namely; Deputy Superintendent of Police, Crime Range, Ludhaina and SHO, Police Station Sadar, Ludhiana, who were repeatedly calling the petitioners in police station, despite the fact that FIR No. 136 dated 21.07.2015 under Sections 406, 420, 467, 468, 471, 120-B IPC was registered against the petitioners and petitioner No. 1-Raghubir Chand Singal, had already remained in custody for more than three months. In the said case, final report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. has been filed, charges have also been framed against them and one prosecution witness has also been examined. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioners at the very outset contends that the purpose of the instant petition would be achieved, if respondent Rishu Kataria 2017.08.04 10:56 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

In view of the above, respondent No. 3-Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, is directed to look into the matter and decide the representation dated 01.05.2017 (Annexure P-14), moved by the petitioners in accordance with law, by passing a speaking order and after affording an opportunity of hearing to them within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

In the meantime, respondents No. 4 and 5 are also directed not to call the petitioners without serving one week's prior notice under Section 160 Cr.P.C.
