(ORAL) The petitioner herein has sought the indulgence of this Court for the issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the case of his premature release in view of the Government's Policy Annexure P-1 and to release him forthwith. Learned State counsel, on the instructions from Mr. Raman, Clerk in the office of respondent No.2, apprises the Court that the matter regarding the premature release of the petitioner has been delayed because of the non-receipt of the requisite report from the District Magistrate, Gunna (M.P.) but strenuous efforts shall be made to expedite the matter.

it would suffice if the direction is given to the competent authorities to take the final call on the matter qua the premature release of the petitioner within some specific time frame.
Learned State counsel has no objection for the same. Resultantly, the petition in hand is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents to take the final decision on the issue of the premature release of the petitioner, strictly in accordance with the relevant Rules/Policy/law, in the given set of the facts and circumstances of the matter, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order.
