Prayer in the present petition is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.161 dated 06.09.2025, registered under Section 22 of NDPS Act (Sections 29 of NDPS Act, added lateron) at Police Station Kamboj, District Amritsar.

Vide order dated 24.02.2026, the petitioner was directed to join investigation.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that pursuant to order dated 24.02.2026, petitioner has joined the investigation and as such his interim bail may be made absolute. 4.
Status report by way of affidavit of Mr. Yadwinder Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division Attari, Amritsar (Rural) has been filed on behalf of respondent-State in the Court, same is taken on record.
