(Oral) Prayer in this petition is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, in a case arising out of FIR No.03 dated 13.01.2016, registered at Police Station Women Police, Patiala, who has been booked for having committed the offences punishable under Sections 498-A and 406 IPC.

At the very outset, learned State, on instructions from investigating officer, has informed that the compromise has been effected between the parties. In this regard, the complainant has given an affidavit. At this stage, custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not required. In view of the totality of the facts and circumstances of the case, order dated 23.05.2016 passed by this Court whereby the ad-interim Naresh Kumar 2016.08.23 11:20 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh anticipatory bail was granted to the petitioner is made absolute. The
