**** ANITA CHAUDHRY, J(ORAL) The petitioners are seeking regular bail in FIR No. 110 dated 21.2.2016 registered at Police Station Model Town, Panipat under Sections 306, 498-A, 34 IPC.

Heard.

The petitioners are the husband and mother-in-law of the complainant. Roli was married to petitioner No. 1 in February 2015. The unfortunate incident took place on 19.2.2016. The FIR was lodged after a delay of two days on account of the Jat agitation in Haryana. The complainant is the resident of Uttar Pradesh. Charge has not been framed and two accused are yet to be arrested.

Counsel for the petitioner contends that the complainant has given an affidavit in their favour. He refers to Annexure P-2 and urges that the girl was mentally not sound and was taking treatment and it was not a case of harassment or dowry demand.

Crl. Misc. No. M-17824 of 2016 -2No document has been placed on record by the petitioners to show that the girl was under any treatment. The reasons for the delay is mentioned in the FIR. The police is verifying the call that was made by the girl on 18.2.2016. The correctness of the affidavit given by the complainant is not to be gone into. The allegations are serious. The death of the girl had taken place within a year of her marriage.

No case for bail is made out.

Petition is dismissed.
