**** RITU BAHRI, J. (Oral) Present petition is for release of petitioner on regular bail in FIR No.52 dated 01.02.2017, under Sections 302, 34 IPC (later on altered to 306 and 34 IPC), registered at Police Station Shahabad, District Kurukshetra.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is 75 years old lady suffering from old age diseases. She is in custody since 14.02.2017 and no useful purpose would be served to further detain her in jail.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from investigating officer, has informed that after framing of charge, there are total 24 witnesses, who are to be examined.

I have heard the learned counsel for the parties and with their Naresh Kumar 2017.05.19 11:24 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh able assistance gone through the material available on record.

CRM-M-16930-2017 -2The petitioner was arrested on 14.02.2017. Since then, she is in judicial custody and no useful purpose would be served to further detain her in jail. The final conclusion of trial will take a long time. In view of above facts, the present petition is allowed. The petitioner is ordered to be released on regular bail on her furnishing adequate bail bonds and surety bonds to the satisfaction of learned trial Judge/Duty Magistrate, Kurukshetra.

Needless to mention that, nothing observed here-in-above, would reflect, on merits in the trial of the main case, in any manner.
