ARUN MONGA, J.(ORAL) Defendant/appellants are in second appeal before this Court assailing judgment and decree dated 31.08.1994 passed by learned Additional District Judge, Amritsar vide which appeal filed against the judgment and decree dated 16.07.1991 passed by learned Senior Sub Judge, Amritsar, has been accepted and suit for possession filed by the plaintiff/respondent has been decreed.

Appeal was admitted 27.10.1994 and dispossession over the property in dispute was stayed. Case was taken up for hearing on 24.01.2023 when Registry was asked to issue notice to learned counsels for the parties.

Office report reveals that service of summons could not be effected upon the parties due to incomplete address. In the absence of addresses of the parties, issuance of fresh notice will be an exercise in futility.
