It has further been submitted that although an application (Annexure P-8) was made to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Amritsar (Rural) on the day of occurrence i.e. on 17.2.2020, but no action has been taken thereupon. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and while refraining from making any expression as regards veracity of averments made in the petition, the petition is disposed of with a direction to-Senior Superintendent of Police, Amritsar (Rural), District Amritsar to look into the matter and to dispose of the representation (Annexure P-8) expeditiously in accordance with law.
