JUSTICE GURVINDER SINGH GILL Present:- Mr. Jagram Singh Cooner, Advocate for the petitioner. ***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that respondents No.10 to 22 entered into the fields belonging to petitioner and her sons and destroyed the crops sown therein and are now threatening to kill the petitioner and other members of her family. It has further been submitted that although an application (Annexure P-8) was made to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Amritsar (Rural) on the day of occurrence i.e. on 17.2.2020, but no action has been taken thereupon. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and while refraining from making any expression as regards veracity of averments made in the petition, the petition is disposed of with a direction to-Senior Superintendent of Police, Amritsar (Rural), District Amritsar to look into the matter and to dispose of the representation (Annexure P-8) expeditiously in accordance with law.
