The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ or certiorari for quashing the impugned order dated 22.02.2024 (Annexure P-7), whereby the petitioner has been transferred from the office of Technical Unit-1, DS Special Division Focal Point, Ludhiana to office of Assistant Engineer, Transmission Line, G.T. Road, Ludhiana, on administrative ground against a vacant post.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is due to retire, on attaining the age of superannuation, on 28.02.2025 and therefore, in terms of policy dated 16.12.2019 (Annexure P-8), he should be allowed to continue at the same station. 3.
I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the relevant documents.

Since the transfer of the petitioner is within Ludhiana, therefore, no case is made out to interfere in the transfer order dated 22.02.2024.
