SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) This petition is for seeking protection of life and liberty of petitioners, who alleged to have married against the wishes of respondents No. 4 and 5, father and cousin of petitioner No.1. Learned counsel for the petitioners has limited his prayer for taking appropriate action in accordance with law on the representation dated 15.05.2015 (Annexure P-5) made by petitioner No.1. It has been stated that both the petitioners are major. The date of birth of petitioner No.1-Sukhdeep Kaur is 13.06.1996 as per copy of Matriculation Examination Certificate (Annexure P-1) and that of petitioner No.2Amritpal Singh is 28.06.1988 as per copy of Matriculation Examination Certificate (Annexure P-2). They got married on 15.05.2015. Photographs of marriage are Annexure P-4.

In view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioners and without expressing any opinion on the validity of SACHIN MEHTA 2015.05.23 14:39 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh
