Ms. Bhavnik Mehta, Advocate for the petitioner. RAJAN GUPTA J. (ORAL) Case has been heard through Video Conferencing in view of COVID-19 Pandemic.

This is a petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking parole on the ground that petitioner has been diagnosed with Malaria with Thrombocytopenia.

Notice of motion.

Mr. Ankur Mittal, Addl. A.G. Haryana, accepts notice on behalf of the official respondent(s). He submits that report is available with him regarding the medical condition of the petitioner. According to him, petitioner does not suffer from any serious illness. He was even tested for COVID-19 and is found to be negative. Besides, petitioner had surrendered on 25.03.2021 after availing special parole of convicts as per the recommendations of High Powered Committee constituted under the directions of Hon'ble Supreme court.
