The prayer in this petition is for quashing of FIR No.198 dated 04.11.2016 under Sections 498-A, 342, 506 and 120-B IPC registered at Police Station City Tarn Taran, District Tarn Taran (Annexure P3) and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom including challan/final report filed under Section 173 Cr.P.C. dated 05.02.2018 (Annexure P8). Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present petition has been rendered infructuous as the petitioner has been discharged by the learned trial Court and the said order has been upheld by learned Revisional Court and present petition may be disposed of as such.
