(Oral) Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.33 dated 09.02.2019 under Sections 323, 498A, 34 IPC registered at Police Station Zirakpur, SAS Nagar, Mohali. Learned counsel for the petitioner says that the matter has been compromised and on the basis of compromise, the petitioners have also filed a petition for quashing of FIR in question. Learned counsel for the complainant does not dispute the aforesaid fact.

Criminal Misc. No. M-10501 of 2019 -2Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Sukhdev Singh, states that the petitioner has joined the investigation and his custodial interrogation is no more required.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties. Considering the fact that the petitioner has joined the investigation and the matter has been compromised between the parties, the present petition is allowed and the interim order dated 09.05.2019 is made absolute.
