(Oral) Petitioner moved this application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of necessary directions to respondents No.2 to 5 for investigation of the matter by a superior police officer not below the rank of SSP and to take legal action. Counsel for the petitioner(s) submitted that complaints dated 30.1.2020, 17.2.2020, 24.20.2020, 27.202020, 5.11.2020 and 9.3.2022 (Annexures P-2 to P-7) in this regard has also been moved before the concerned authorities, but no action has been taken as of now. Notice of motion to respondents No.1 to 5 at this stage. Ms. Samina Dhir, DAG, Punjab has accepted notice on behalf of the respondents No.1 to 5.

State counsel submits that the concerned authority will look into the matter and take decision on the representation of the petitioners in accordance with law.

In the light of the above, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to consider and decide the representation dated 9.3.2022 (Annexure P-7) in accordance with law within a period of 2 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
