The petitioners have filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.125 dated 13.4.2017 registered for the offences under Sections 379-B and 34 IPC at Police Station Focal Point, Ludhiana, District Ludhiana. I have heard learned counsel for the petitioners and have gone through the record.

As per the allegations, when complainant-Sudhir Kumar Sahni returning back to home on 11.4.2017 at about 8.20 p.m. after finishing his duty work reached near Chaudhary colony, then from the backside one motorcycle Platina, the registration number of which could be read as 3654, came from Gobindgarh side and three boys were riding on it. They stopped their motorcycle and the person driving motorcycle kept on sitting at the motorcycle in starting mode and the two persons sitting on rear seat got Harpal Singh Parmar 2017.05.16 16:43 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

Cr. Misc. No.M-17094 of 2017 [2] down and came and asked the complainant to hand over all his belongings to them otherwise they would give dagger blow in his stomach and in the meantime, his second colleague took out his purse from back side of his pant containing `10,400/-, PAN card, Aadhar card, Voter card and salary slip of the company and his mobile phone held by him in his hand and went towards the Gobindgarh railway crossing. On his personal level, he made enquiry and came to know that his mobile phone was snatched away by Ali Mohammed and Yakub.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the present case and the fact that the petitioners are required for custodial interrogation, I do not find it a fit case where the present petitioners are entitled to the benefit of anticipatory bail.

Therefore, finding no merit in this petition, the same is dismissed.
