(ORAL) Counsel for the petitioner states that he be allowed to withdraw the present writ petition, at this stage, with a liberty to approach the Chief General Manager, who is the competent authority under the Rules to take appropriate action in respect of the impugned order, by taking all pleas before the said authority including the jurisdiction of the General Manager of passing the impugned order. Dismissed as withdrawn, with the liberty, as prayed for. Now, counsel for the petitioner states that usually the proceedings do take a lot of time, which will cause prejudice to the petitioner and requests that the petitioner will approach the Chief General Manager in this regard within a period of two weeks by initiating NARESH KUMAR 2019.03.19 15:53 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh
CWP-6121-2019 -2appropriate proceedings and states that a direction be given to the Chief General Manager to decide the proceedings, which the petitioner intends to take before the said authority, in an expeditious manner. Every authority is supposed to work as per the law. Nothing has been pointed by the counsel for the petitioner that the remedy which the petitioner intends to take before the Chief General Manager will not be finalized in a time bound manner.
