SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) This petition is for seeking protection of life and liberty of petitioners, who alleged to have married against the wishes of respondents No.4 to 6, parents and uncle of petitioner No.1. Affidavit of petitioner No.2 filed in the Court today, which is taken on record.
Learned counsel for the petitioners has limited his prayer for taking appropriate action in accordance with law on the representation dated 17.01.2017 (Annexure P-4) made by the petitioners. It has been stated that both the petitioners are major. The date of birth of petitioner No.1Amandeep Kaur is 20.05.1997 as per copy of Aadhaar Card (Annexure P-1) and that of petitioner No.2-Amandeep Singh is 15.12.1990 as per copy of Aadhaar Card (Annexure P-2). They got married on 17.01.2017. Photographs of marriage are Annexure P-3.
