(Oral) Prayer made in the petition is for issuance of directions to respondents No.2 and 3 to protect lives and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondents No.4 and 5.
The petitioner as well as respondents No.4 and 5 are present in the Court. The matter was referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court for counselling of petitioner No.2-Renuka. The Mediator has recorded her statement that she is ready to go with her parents to pursue her studies and her parents assures that after completing 21 years of age, they will arrange her marriage according to her wishes. In the statements of the parents, i.e. Ramesh Kumar-father and Smt. Ruma-mother, it is stated that petitioner No.2 is their daughter and they want to take her back to their house to enable her to complete her studies and they and in their family will not cause any physical harm to her. In view of the same, this petition is disposed of. However, liberty is granted to petitioner No.2 to accompany her parents, who will be bound by the statement made by her and her parents before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre.
